The Biblical Universalism series

Welcome to the Biblical Universalism series. This is a series of articles that my free Biblical Universalism eBook was originally based on, and while I’d recommend reading the eBook rather than the articles (since it’s more up to date than the articles are), they are still available for those who prefer to read articles on a website to an eBook in the PDF or ePUB formats that it’s available in.

Before you do read them, though, I should quickly discuss the Bible version I primarily used throughout these articles. You see, A) there are a number of people out there who won’t consider scriptural references from anything other than this one particular Bible version, and I wanted to reach the largest audience possible, B) because it’s still one of the most popular and recognizable Bible versions anyway, not to mention C) because it was just fun to demonstrate the fact that Universalism is clearly taught in the translation of Scripture which uses the word “hell” more often than any other English Bible version (based on what I could determine when comparing translations, anyway), and which is used the most often to defend the doctrine of never-ending punishment as well (at least in my own experience), unless specifically stated otherwise, all scriptural references in this series — both in the body of the articles and in the supporting links I use for my scriptural references — are from the KJV (the King James Version of the Bible). All that being said, if you aren’t a fan of the way the KJV renders certain verses, please feel free to look up the supporting references in a translation of your choosing instead. For any KJV-Onlyists reading this, though, I should probably also point out that some of the writers of the supporting books and articles I linked to throughout this series do use other Bible versions themselves, and they don’t necessarily all feel as favourably towards the KJV as I do, but I still highly recommend reading their articles and books in order to learn more details that I didn’t have the time to get into here myself. Speaking of those supporting references, please keep in mind that just because I link to specific articles or books doesn’t mean that I agree with everything their writers and/or publishers believe and/or teach. In some cases, I link to them for the sole reason that they happen to have better supporting material on a specific point than anybody else I’ve found so far.
